Dear racing car friends,
The Federation of Modelcar sport of Russia is sad to announce that on 11 June 2013, at the age of 56, our friend and comrade VLADIMIR VOLKOV was tragically killed in a car accident.
His name is associated with many glorious moments and events in the history of tether car racing in Russia. He is one of the initiators and executors of building a track in Yaroslavl. Now it is a sports facility is considered one of the best facilities in the world.
His passion was 5 cc class model, where he achieved good results, repeatedly winning the Russian Championships and international competitions.
The memory of him will forever remain in our hearts.
